Hi Paul, Eric and I are really interested in your Star Wars blog. Eric also has the mini figures. Where do you get yours? We will have to talk more about your great template, the cool cards you've made and the action figures. Love, Aunt Beth.
Thanks. I get my miniatures from this website: http://www.miniaturemarket.com/star_wars_minis They have singles and boosters, but for boosters, they are usually cheaper at target.
Eric isn't really ready yet to play the full games but in the next year or so I think he will be. Right now he loves the little figures and makes up battles and such with lots of sound effects! What game would be a good one to start with that maybe he and I could play and understand without much experience or strategy skills? Thanks for all your help with this!
Do you have a starter set? If you don't you should buy one. There is one here http://www.miniaturemarket.com/inc/sdetail/38492/108086. It includes Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and several stormtroopers and rebel troopers. You will also get everything to play your first game (rulebook, map, dice, ect). I recommend starting without special abilities, force powers, or commander effects. Just start with the stats, and whether the character is a melee or ranged attacker. Later you can start using special abilities.
